Kyra Minturn

 Kyra Minturn (born on 19th August 1965), is an American actress from the United States. Her leading role on the crime drama TNT The Closer as Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson is her most well-known. Sedgwick received two Emmy Awards in 2010 as well as 2007 for her portrayal Johnson. Following the conclusion of the seventh season the show was cancelled on the 13th of August, 2012. Sedgwick is also well-known for her part in Brooklyn Nine-Nine, playing Madeline Wuntch. Sedgwick was nominated for the Golden Globe award in 1995 for her performance on Something to Talk About. Sedgwick's film appearances include Oliver Stone's Born On the Fourth of July (1989), Cameron Crowe's Solos (1992), Heart and Souls (93), Phenomenon (2000), What's cooking (2000) as well as Secondhand Lions (2003). The actress also appeared in The Game Plan (2007) and The Possession (2012). Sedgwick is the daughter Patricia Rosenwald who is an educator therapy for families, a venture capitalist, as well as Henry Dwight Sedgwick VII Speech therapist.
