Krystal Marie Ball

 Krystal Marie Balm (born November 24 in 1980) is an American journalist and political commentator. She was a former political candidate, and also an anchor on television at MSNBC as well as a regular contributor to The Huffington Post and former co-host of the show The Hill's Rising alongside Saagar Enjeti. Enjeti and Ball made it clear in May 2021 that they would quit the show in order to start their own project, Breaking Points with Krystal and Saagar. Ball is co-hosting along with Kyle Kulinski on the podcast Krystal Kyle & Friends. She has made guest appearances on networks such as CNN, CNBC, Fox News as well as programs like Real Time with Bill Maher. Ball is currently married to Jonathan Dariyanani, as of 2020. Ball attributes her new fascination with politics due to her experience as a mother during the 2008 primary elections. Furthermore, she observed the US presidency election during her time working in Jordan. She was able to observe the impact that it had on the citizens of Jordan and gained an appreciation of the global reach of US politics. She was a Senior Fellow of the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party nominee for Congress in Virginia's 1st congressional district during the 2010 election. She lost to Republican incumbent Rob Wittman. She hosted The Cycle on MSNBC from June 2012 to July 15, 2015. She hosted The Cycle, a show on MSNBC, from June 2012 through July 2015.
